We've finally had some warm weather, so Isaac had his first popsicle of the season. (Or ever, for that matter.)

Talk about a mop, eh? We should be posting about his first haircut soon.

We've had a few fun days outside since the weather started warming up. Here are Josh and Isaac having some fun:

Can you see the house in the background, just to the right of the slide? It is next to the lot where we are building our new house. We foresee lots of trips to this playground after we move!

Cousins at the Park

Last week, Isaac and Simon got to play with two of their older cousins who were visiting from out of town. They had a blast at Rockwood Park with Rory and Libby!

Isaac dances a lot. And we mean a lot. He can find the rhythm in just about anything, but this was the first time we saw him dance to an appliance.

Daddy On The Line

Isaac has loved the telephone for quite a while, but he has always been heavy on the listening. Just recently, he has finally started talking (albeit often jibberish) to the person on the other end. This photo was taken during a mid-day chat with Josh, who was at work at the time. What prompted the call? Isaac said: "Daddy...car...go...work!" It was the longest near-phrase he has strung together to date, and Jane was so excited that she needed to share.

Jolly Jumping Simon

Simon tried the Jolly Jumper for the first time on Tuesday morning. He was a natural! It was so fun to watch him figure it out.

March Madness

March Madness came to an end with UNC beating MSU on Monday night. Josh and Simon watched the final game together, and Simon even wore his Tarheel Blue sleepers to cheer on Daddy's team.

We had to wake Isaac up from a nap on the weekend, but we brought Simon into his bed just to make it a little more fun.

Isaac loves to try on Jane`s glasses. `Mama! Gasses? Puh-eese!`

PSA: Bath Toys

This guy looks pretty innocent, eh?

Isaac has several rubber squirt bath toys that he loves. We are always careful to squeeze all the water out of them at the end of the bath and occasionally throw them into the dishwasher to get them really clean. During Isaac`s bath a few nights ago, we noticed some weird black specs floating in the water. Josh noticed that one was attached to the squirt hole of the starfish. We wondered if maybe it was something inside of him, so we did a little tub-toy-dissection. YUCK! Look what we found inside!

Jane literally gagged. We just wanted to remind everyone that emptying and washing these suckers isn`t enough - replace them regularly (or just play with something else altogether)!

New Wheels!

We picked up a double stroller from Kijiji on the weekend. Isaac and Simon both seemed to enjoy it. Bring on the warm weather so we can use it somewhere other than the living room!

Last weekend, Josh was away for basketball provincials and Jane took Isaac and Simon to her Great Aunt Dodo`s 90th birthday party. Isaac wasn`t willing to try to say `Happy Birthday`, but he said `Dodo Party` over and over again in the car on the way, and once he saw the birthday gal.
