Dinner Time Antics

Isaac is coming out with all kinds of words lately. At dinner tonight, he repeatedly threw his fork away and then asked for it back. His enunciation has to improve a little before we let him talk about forks in front of company. :)

Meanwhile, Simon was keeping himself busy with a Baby Mum-Mum. We definitely didn't give these to Isaac until he was older, but it's a perfect example of how parents are more laid back the second time around. Simon can handle them just fine and seems to really enjoy being in control of the grub!

*Edited to add that Jane hates how loud and grouchy she sounds in these videos. She`s really not that tough.

Snoozers

Seriously. How cute are these two?

How sweet is he?!

Simon puts up with a lot of (mostly accidental) abuse from Isaac. This picture shows one of the few times that Simon fought back.

Jane didn't realise until this photo that Simon's sleepers blended in with the quilt backing. Camouflage baby!

It's really tough to get a picture of Isaac and Simon together these days. This is about as good as we can do!

Two Babies + One Crib = Too Cute

Snow in June?

Something is wrong with the seal on our deep freezer, and it got all iced-up. Today, Jane defrosted it while the boys were napping. When she scraped off all the ice, she put it into a bucket and put it back in the freezer. Once the boys got up, Isaac had a great time playing with the 'snow' in the sunshine on the deck.

He was a little hesitant at first...



...then he got right down to business!

He kept saying: `Cold!`

Simon and his super fair skin stayed out of the sun, just inside the door, watching the action.

Little Foodie

Guess who is old enough to start eating solids? Simon! How is he already 6 months old? The time is going way too quickly.

Wild Hair

Isaac gets a big kick out of his wild towel-dried hair after the bath. It's so cute to watch him laugh at his reflection in the mirror.

Mama's Boy

Simon is such a calm and happy baby - while Jane is in the room, that is. He is turning into what we are jokingly calling our Mama's Boy. Here he is, all snuggles in the sling.

Just Like Dad

When we loaded some tub pictures on to the computer, one of them reminded Jane of a picture she had seen somewhere before...

Pretty similar, eh?
