Simon is more mobile by the day. He has just recently figured out how to walk with the push hippo. (Another thanks to Jeff and Shannon for a great hand-me-down!)
"I a good cookie"
Jane and Isaac made oatmeal raisin cookies yesterday while Simon was napping. Isaac was excited to be her only assistant, because it meant actually helping! He watched them in the oven for a long time...
Then he must have gotten tired and decided to sit down while he waited.
Then he went to his room and came back with a book. Of course! Just like in the doctor's waiting room.
Yummy! Worth the wait!

Visit to Grandmum's
On Remembrance Day, we went up to Boiestown to visit some of Josh's family. (Remember when we went last year?) It was an absolutely gorgeous day, and the boys had a great time.
Here's Isaac, playing outdoors with his great Aunt Jane
They both enjoyed checking out the back on Benjamin's truck
And Isaac thought being behind the wheel of the tractor was the coolest thing ever! Elwood and Benjamin came home with a load of wood and Isaac helped them take it off the truck. Then, he sat down on the pile for a little rest. (The three skinny logs behind him were his contribution to the stack, and he was adorably proud)
Unfortunately, the lack of naps caught up to the boys when it was time to take a picture with Grandmum before leaving.

Kisses from Simon
Here's a video from a couple weeks back. Such sweet little kisses, notwithstanding the food on his face and his runny nose.

Just "Hanging Around" in the Kitchen
We forgot to post about the great new chairs we got for the boys! They are made to clip (securely) right on to the edge of a table or countertop, and they work perfectly on our island. It's so nice to be able to seat them right in the middle of the kitchen, without using up all the floor-space of two high chairs.
We don't have a picture that shows them well, but he's a goofy one. In the first one you can see Isaac acting silly with a mouth full of food, and in the second one you can see how much said silliness cracked Simon up.

The Getaway!
Simon is a wild-man on the move! He can get up the stairs in no time, and we find him playing with all the shoelaces at the front door.
