Fun with Cousins

Jane's brother, Joe, and his family visited from Toronto. The kids had oodles of fun playing with their cousins!

We didn't get many pictures at Jane's cousin Kate's wedding, so we had to get Ruthie back in her sweet little dress to take a few while it still fit her.

Splash Pad

We took the kids to try out the new splash pad at Rainbow Park. So fun! They absolutely loved it, and we loved hearing all the giggles and squeals each time they got splashed.

(Yes, that's Simon spraying kids 3 times his size with the water shooter. We are in for it with that little guy!)

Canada Day in Doaktown

On the Canada Day weekend, we went to Doaktown with Jane's parents, where they rent a camp for the fishing season.  They boys have often heard Nan and Pop speak of Doaktown, and they were delighted to go themselves. For a good portion of the drive, they sang: "We're going to Doaktown! We're going to Doaktown!" Here's a video of Simon singing a slightly varied version once we arrived, "We went to Doaktown."

 While trying to take some pictures of Ruthie, she started pulling and eating the camera strap. As a result, all that was snapped were some very close pictures.

Family Weekend!

The Henry's came from Massachusetts and stayed with us for the weekend, allowing us all to throw a bridal shower for Kate. During the same time, Jamie and Teagan were home from Austraillia. So fun to get lots of family together for a happy occasion! Can't wait to do it again for Kate and Steve's wedding in July (minus Jaime and Teagan though).
