Here We Grow Again!

Another hand-me-down from Isaac that Simon can now wear...

We couldn't get a decent picture of Simon in the big brother shirt, but here's a funny out-take of Isaac trying to point to the words.

And an extra one of Isaac being silly, just because he looks so grown up in it!

Picnics Galore!

Isaac and Simon have been dining 'en plein air' as much as possible lately. Big thanks to Josh for rescuing this picnic table from someone's trash, and big thanks to Pop for gluing all the loose parts back together. They are having lots of fun, and Jane is loving not having to sweep after every snack and meal.

Dino Pool or Diamond Cool

We bought this inflatable dinosaur pool in anticipation for the hot days of summer. The box calls it a "Dino Pool", but Isaac insists on saying "Diamond Cool". We don't know why, but he won't stand to be corrected.

No matter what you call it, they weren't impressed once it was set up. Isaac kept saying: "It's still wet. Why is it wet?" We think that they might have thought it was just a toy, and didn't understand what a pool was?

Isaac, however, was still skeptical of the whole thing.

Maybe he'll warm up to it by the time we really need to cool off in July!

Outdoor Lunch

How sweet is little Simon? This picture has such a stamp of his personality. (The Mr Hyde side of his personality, that is.)

And here's Isaac, who isn't all about having his photo taken these days. Here he is pointing to the school kids on the playground and telling me to: "Take a picture of the recess kids, Mama. Not me. Just the kids at recess"
