Not until after Simon's birthday...

When Simon was born on December 6th, we decided that we would never let Christmas come to our house before his birthday...so all decorations, music, baking, etc are on hold for another two weeks. Isaac must have heard us talk about this, because he just looked out the window and saw that it was snowing. He stood up and shouted: "Shoo snow! Go! Go away! It's not Christmas yet! Not until after Simon's birthday!"

Shutterfly

With all our printing of cards, calendars, photo books, and the like (all with picture of the boys, of course) we have always been SO satisfied with the quality of products from Shutterfly. They always have great calendar designs and easy-to-create photo books, and unique cards & stationary. Imagine Jane's excitement when we learned that Bloggers get 50 free holiday cards from Shutterfly (you can sign up @ http://bit.ly/sfly2010 )! Cute kid photos and great quality and free? Three of her favourite things.   :)

Jane is loving the Christmas card templates they are offering this year because they offer space for photos on both the inside and outside. No longer a need to narrow it down to one fave photo. Should we do few pics to show our year in review? Or should we post the out-takes from attempts to get the elusive perfect Christmas picture? We should decide quickly so we can get these puppies printed and mailed!

If you blog, visit Shutterfly here to score your own free 50 holiday cards!

Lullaby

Isaac sang this song to us recently, and says he is going to sing it to the new baby.

(He originally sang the last line: "until you wake my breakfast bug." After hearing it a few times, we suggested that the word might be 'precious', which he is now singing. Maybe we shouldn't have corrected him though - the misinterpretation was so cute.)

Overheard at Breakfast

Simon and Isaac have been making up knock-knock jokes. Often they don't make any sense, but occasionally they do. Both are funny for different reasons!

Here's an exchange we overheard them having at breakfast today:

Simon: Knock-Knock
Isaac: Who's there?
Simon: Ghost
Isaac: Ghost who?
Simon: Boo!
Isaac: (laughing) That is the most serious joke I ever saw.
