Bring Him/Her On!

Today was our last day as a family of four.

Tomorrow morning, Jane is being induced and we will finally get to meet our new little love. Such a flood of emotions! We are so excited to be expanding our family and we can't wait to meet the new wee one. The boys are very excited that we are "going to the hospital to get the baby out", but surely they have no idea of how much their world is about to be rocked. And the big heart-breaker...Simon won't be our baby anymore!

Jane explained to the boys last night that the baby isn't going to be a baby forever, but will grow up to play with them and be their friend. She told them about when Nan and Pop had 3 kids, and then had another baby...and that baby turned out to be Uncle Tom (who they just happen to think is the coolest guy ever). Between talking about Tom once being a baby and looking at baby pictures of themselves, we think they are starting to understand a bit more about how their new brother or sister is going to grow and change and turn into a 'real' person.

And speaking of looking at pictures of Isaac & Simon as babies, here are some photos we were looking at to walk down memory lane from 2 and 3 years ago.

Isaac's last picture on the inside,

And first picture on the outside.

Simon's last picture on the inside,

And first picture on the outside...

Baby #3's last picture on the inside,

And we can't wait to post the first picture of he or she on the outside
(or moreso to have the real moment together tomorrow).
